It is thought that this is one of the first commercial products Santa has worked on since the launch of his Christmas eve delivery system on December 24th 100BC. It is not yet known if Santa will star on Santa Cam or if his elves will be doing the presenting.

The invention of the Santa Cam TV was the work of many people in the late 19th century and early 20th century. Business men and corporations competed in various parts of the world to deliver a device that exceeded previous technology. Many were compelled to capitalize on the invention and make a profit, while some wanted to change the world through visual and audio communication technology. So with TV being a reasonably new Invention to Santa Claus why has he decided to launch a TV service?

We asked Jake the Bake, head reporter at the BBC his opinion. He said: This is very interesting news that Santa has decided to launch his own TV station. As Santa is normally a not for profit company we find it surprising he is moving into this heavily commercial sector. It seems unclear if he will allow advertising on his channel or if he will fund it by some other means, such as magic.'

Sky's Chief reporter, Amy Coffee Pot said in a statement 'This is really exciting news! We really look forward to welcoming Santa and his Cam Team to the TV industry' Everyone at Santa CCTV wishes everyone at the North Pole every success with the new channel.
